Poster Sizes and Ratio

Six Print Sizes to Cover’em All

Six print sizes to cover major paper sizes. High-resolution 300 DPI images to print posters up to 841 x 1189 mm.

To make a list of every print format available at the moment is next to impossible. With my posters, I decided to focus on the main ones and identified six. The first distinction is between inch sizes that are normally based on aspect ratio (normally in North and South America) and the international standard also known as ISO 216, which involves the progressive division of an A0 rectangular sheet (841×1189 mm)

One of the fundamental goals of my business was and is to provide images that can also be printed on large formats and in high quality. Therefore, I decided to work with large sizes, A0 by the international ISO 216 standard and the 27 “x40” that is typically used for movie posters. All at a resolution of 300 DPI. Each of my posters therefore comes with six JPGs at 300 DPI. The files have the maximum size for each type listed below, so you can print the files from that maximum size down without any loss of quality.
